English Language Courses
The College
LTC International College opened in 1954 and became part of the GEOS network in 1997. We run English language courses for people from all over the world. In 2006, we had students from more than 40 different countries.
LTC is accredited by the British Council and is a member of English UK. This is your guarantee of quality. The British Council regularly inspects the College to make sure we give you everything we promise you. In particular, they look at:
- Teaching and learning
- Teachers’ qualifications
- Accommodation
- Student welfare
LTC is different from any other language school. We are in a beautiful 18th Century house with an enormous garden, and yet we are only 20 minutes’ walk from the town centre.
Our facilities include:
18 fully equipped classrooms- Student computers with free email and internet.

- Library and Study Centre
- Student Common Room
- Student kitchen for adult students
- Piano
- Badminton, table tennis and pool
- Volleyball and football in the garden
- Dining Hall *
- Bedrooms for more than 100 students age 10-16.
* If the Dining Hall is closed in winter, students can have lunch delivered to the College.
