Silver Age Courses

Who is this programme for?

For mature people (age 50+) who enjoy learning languages and want to visit new places and learn about the history and culture of England with like-minded people

When are the Courses?

In 2007, we have two 2-week courses starting on Sunday 17th June and Sunday 23rd September. (The first day is a guided tour of London)

What is included?

The price includes half-board homestay accommodation, tuition and all activities and excursions as stated in the programme Please note: the price does not include: airport transfer, insurance or lunches from Monday to Friday

What is the timetable?

20 lessons of English per week in the morning (15 hours from 09.00-12.45; all lessons are 45 minutes). The emphasis is on learning useful & relevant language with the focus on speaking and understanding

Activities and Excursions every weekday afternoon except for Fridays which are free for optional trips or shopping

One full-day excursion per week: transport and entrance fees included. One of the excursions will be to London

Learning about East Sussex and English History. There will be opportunities for participants to benefit from the rich history of Compton Park , the Grade One listed building where GEOS- LTC International College is housed, as well as to learn more about Sussex and English history

Will we use a coursebook?

No. All study material is provided by the school

What kind of accommodation do you organise?

We organise special homestay for our Senior clients with mature families who are happy to spend time with them & realise they appreciate the comforts of home. These will include breakfast and evening meal as normal However, we can also help to arrange Bed and Breakfast or hotel accommodation if requested for those people who prefer to be more independent
