Eastbourne
Eastbourne, which lies on England’s sunniest coast, is a beautiful seaside town, and it has more than a million visitors every year. It has attractive beaches and is near some of the most beautiful countryside in England.
There is a lot for you to do in Eastbourne, from our busy shopping centre to tennis, golf, swimming, windsurfing and many other sports. In the evening you can go to traditional pubs, restaurants selling food from all over the world, cinemas, theatres or nightclubs and Eastbourne’s vibrant music scene.
Take a bus to the countryside just outside the town, the beautiful South Downs and the spectacular cliffs of Beachy Head and Seven Sisters.
Eastbourne has a busy calendar of events, including a major ladies’ tennis tournament, one of Britain’s biggest free airshows and our very own beer festival in October.
Eastbourne has a superb location, just 90 minutes from the centre of London by train, the town is two hours from Heathrow and only one hour from Gatwick Airport.
